I read blogs for entertainment. Some are funny, some are thought provoking, some are eclectic and unpredictable.

His posts are short, sometimes no more than a few gritty words or simply a picture of his cruiser’s red beacon through a rain spattered window. He doesn’t pull punches. The language is authentic and often from drug addicts, drunks and the hopeless. Other times it will be a snippet from a squad room briefing or communique from the administration. Sometimes it is loaded with cryptic abbreviations and slang known to a very different level of society than what I know. And sometimes he takes a day off to be with his wife.

It is human, very human.
