Cleaned for an extra hour to reach a semblance of shiney, this old brass sat in someone’s to-be-reloaded pile for years slowly growing cruft.

I bought my first long gun Saturday.
I was looking for something appropriate on which to teach our youngest granddaughter who is nearing the point where she’s mature enough – with supervision – to learn to shoot a firearm.
Is it one?
