The wife is still on the fence about going downtown today. Yeah, it’s gonna be hot but the light rail is supposed to be punctual so we’ll sit in the car until it’s almost time for it to pick us up at the park ’n ride lot near Christown Mall. Then, it’s $2.50 each for the round trip (day pass same as two rides) to the stop right next to the Convention Center downtown. I have the maps and the schedule right here.

I have the utmost respect for our law enforcement officers many of whom frequently put their lives on the line – and sometimes lose – on our behalf.

Comments such as this customer made are nice to get:

“Freedom”, as to how it has been defined and used in the United States, and by William Wallace, and by many others is a concept many do not understand.

Rarely, only very rarely, do I teach a group that is close to if not completely indifferent to the topic at hand.

The saying goes that if you like where you’re at, you better enjoy it because it will soon change.

I don’t normally listen to Howard Stern but my attention was recently called to a set of interviews he conducted in Harlem. They make a strong – and sad – case for continuing the electoral system. Listen to the recording here and see if you think the average American should directly elect the President, or if we still need the electoral process where, hopefully, wiser minds can prevail.
