Writing software and teaching it dominated my working years. I specialized in what has since become known as embedded, real-time systems. My employers were in the Phoenix area initially, and then later in Silicon Valley and Santa Barbara (California). The job put me on the road to customer sites all around North America and to many overseas locations.

Anita

Anita is active with family and performs as a jazz vocalist.

Our Background

We were born and raised in Memphis Tennessee, and married there in 1970. Our first child was born there. We then moved to Arizona. That has been our home ever since—except for one really cold winter in Rome, New York. [Yes, dear, you were right and I was wrong.] Our second child was born in Phoenix where both eventually graduated college. They both have families of their own now. [We have grandchildren!]
