This past Sunday morning with gorgeous weather after a cold and rainy Saturday, I fired my best ever 22 Slow Fire, a 97-2X. That contributed to my best ever 22 aggregate, 849-24X.

Bullet quality is determined by many factors, one of which is weight. When all bullets weigh the same, they are more likely to fly to the same point on the 50 yard target. (I’ve written on this topic before here and also here.)

But the offer reached me by word of mouth rather than the usual NRA letter in the mail so after spending my money, I wanted to be sure it “took” but knew it would take a while to reach the NRA’s computers.

I’m guarding the clean but wet brass from bombers as it bakes dry in the afternoon Arizona sun.

Start with two buckets for brass. Label them #1 and #2.

What happens if a case of ammo is dropped 65 feet, struck by a fired shot, exposed to the detonation of a blasting cap, ground under the tread of a bulldozer or torched in a fire?
