In no particular order, here they are.

Paul, a late-comer who “got the word” on the road to Damascus rather than directly from Jesus but was then sanctioned by His Disciples, wrote to the early Christian Church in Corinth and said a lot of things.

As a former debater, I love a good word-scrap. Last night’s Vice Presidential debate was, from that perspective, thrilling. Each side landed several good punches but the recipient always shook off the effects and charged back in.

A “bid” is an offer to buy something. The operative word here is offer. If you don’t win an auction with that offer, you don’t pay.

But neither of these is how it started.

I fired 120 rounds late today in the wad gun and had no light strikes.

In the previous sections, we eavesdropped on a live conversation between two ham stations, one in Windsor Ontario and the other in Venezuela on the northern coast of South America. And I mentioned that while you’ll find hams of all ages working the bands at all hours of day or night, it’s also true that the majority of them tend to be older gentlemen.

In the first part of this post, we had a quick look at a conversation taking place between ham radio stations in Ontario Canada and Venezuela where I just happened to be in the right place, Phoenix Arizona, to “hear” both of them.
