John Z pointed out his little guy (gal?) today in one of the owl-accessible storage sheds at the range. He is about 9" tall when puffed up. The only route in to the shed without a key is airborne so the spot is reasonably safe from ground-based predators.

AZ Shooter’s World is an indoor shooting range with a long presence in Phoenix. Not quite a year and a half ago, they opened an additional indoor range and store in Peoria, in the northwest part of Phoenix. After hearing about it several times and with 110°F temperatures keeping me away from the outdoor range at my normal haunt, the Phoenix Rod and Gun Club, I decided to give AZ Shooter’s World a try.

This is the Bulls-Eye Crater on Mars. The X, 10 and 9 rings are the only ones delineated so I guess anything less simply doesn’t count. Tough game! (Martians must all be High Masters?)
